Nick’s Painting Plus is a family-owned and operated painting company built on hard work, trust, and pride in doing things the right way. Founded by Nick, who began painting at just 17 years old, the company was built from the ground up through hands-on experience, quality craftsmanship, and honest service.
Nick started building the business in 2015, working job by job and earning trust through consistent results. Along the way, his wife Mayra joined him in the business. Together with a skilled, reliable team of painters who share the same commitment to quality and care, they’ve grown Nick’s Painting Plus into a company families and businesses can rely on—while still keeping a personal, hands-on approach.
Nick remains closely involved in every project, making sure preparation is done right and the final result is something he’s proud to put his name on.
Mayra serves as the Office Manager and is often the first point of contact for customers, guiding them through scheduling, communication, and decisions like color selection to ensure a smooth and comfortable experience.

Nick is the owner of Nick's Painting Plus and has over 20 years of experience in the painting industry. He and his wife, Mayra-his business partner-live in Polk City with their three daughters.
Nick built his business from the ground up and takes a great deal of pride in the work he puts his name on. When he's not on a job site or in the office, he enjoys spending time with his family, being outdoors, boating, fishing, and traveling together. For Nick, painting is more than a job—it's about providing quality finishes he's proud to stand behind.

Mayra is the Office Manager at Nick’s Painting Plus working alongside Nick to keep projects organized and communication clear. Originally from California, she later made Iowa home, where she built a life, family, and business with Nick.
Outside of work, Mayra enjoys lake days, boating, and traveling with her family. She and Nick live in Polk City and take pride in serving the community they call home.
